Within you, there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.” — Hermann Hesse
It’s been a while… I had a surgery in May for which I have been recovering. This time has really opened my eyes to the many things in my life. Giving myself permission to heal and to take time and go within to my inner sanctuary was a very important step in my healing. When I released the thought of having to do, to be, or to complete something it gave me so much relief. I felt lighter and free. I truly think this helped me to get through the rough parts of the healing.
I love what I do, but sometimes being an entrepreneur can be a roller coaster of emotions. Before my surgery I was on a mission to re-evaluate and restructure my business and merge it with the goals I have for my later years. I know I’m still young, only 51, but dedicating time to be proactive and honoring the life you want and deserve helps to put things in perspective and creates a structure that helps you to adopt routines, practices and the mindset to align with your goal.
So, as I further heal and restore my body I will honor this time and listen to the truths that are part of my higher self to lead me into this next chapter in my life and offerings. I encourage you to do the same if you are in a state where you need self-care take time to honor where you are. Namaste.
