Summer solstice 2020
It’s that time of the year again and in the current state of the world realizing the changes in seasons seems the last thing on anyone’s list, right? Well, this may be the case, but it’s easy to get disconnected from your source when things are in constant unknown, when you see the world and its people suffering on many levels, and when stress and overwhelm has gotten the best of you.
Whether you are battling illness, standing up for the rights of others, taking care of family, trying to make a living in difficult times we cannot lose hope. When I think of people in the past who went through similar things as we are now, they too had the same concerns and fears. If all of them let it get the best of them then we wouldn’t be here today.
The Summer Solstice is a reminder that nature, Mother Earth is still here to support us.
The Summer Solstice is a time to reflect on your personal growth and the meaning of the season of growth and light. Light! I love that word. Just saying it changes my vibration. June 20, 2020, is our Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. The longest day of light. The sun represents all light and gives us this time to reflect and catch up with ourselves; it is time for renewal.
Take some time for yourself on Saturday, June 20th and see how you can support yourself to allow hope, dreams and aspirations to come to the surface of your thoughts. Journaling, meditating and spending time in nature will help. Take the time and revisit yourself and the light within.
