Living in the Present Moment
I had some time to think of my life pre-covid and life now and realize even more so that the relationships we have with others are one of the most valuable things one can have in this life. Relationships and friendships that will pull through any disease or disaster are priceless. We are meant to be social creatures. Even if you live alone we still have friends and people in our lives that we enjoy being with even if it is on the phone or via the internet. When we are with others we feel, we are open and we share. That is what being human is all about. When we are present with our emotions we can see what we need and we can do something about it.
Living in this time of covid some of us are less social and can feel out of touch. Things can feel dull. Every minute we are alive there is hope.
Every moment we take to be present, to be mindful we can really feel how much we do have in our lives. It’s only in the present moment that we really can feel some relief and some type of freedom.
I invite you to take some time out of your day to honor the people you have in your life and how they are important to you. Sit with that feeling and let it grow into hope and a feeling of well being. It’s only when we take time in the present moment that we realize what is most important to us.
