Restorative Yoga helps to deeply relax the body and still the mind. The use of props will enhance your practice and ability to let go and relax which allows the body to heal and return to balance. Most postures are done on the floor supported by props. (A gentle restorative practice.)
Yoga nidra is an ancient yogic practice as both a form of meditation and a mind-body therapy. It is a systematic form of guided relaxation which includes several stages to relax the body, mind and emotions. Yoga nidra is an effective and efficient way to access the “rest and digest” parasympathetic state, which is where healing happens.

**Please note registration for this class ends 4hrs prior to class, so register early to ensure a spot.
Props & Prop Options to have available for your restorative practice:
*3-4 Yoga Blankets or you can use Beach Towels or Throw Blankets
*2 Yoga Blocks or you can use Towels or Beach Towels
*A Yoga Bolster or you can use a firm Pillow or Beach Towels
*Yoga strap or you can use a Rope, Fabric belt (like a bathrobe belt), or a Tie
Setting up your space for Yoga Nidra:
Please prepare your room to inspire rest and relaxation. Options can be dimming lights, have soft & cozy blankets to lay on and to wrap yourself in, and flameless candles are also a nice touch. Silence your phone and take this time for self care.
Once, the class starts please mute your microphone settings on Zoom. Enjoy your practice.
